Dear Donna: Alta Jean sent me the obituary about Dale and I wanted you to know how sorry I am to hear of his passing. My sister Doris had heard from Jean at Christmas and told me that Dale had been in the hospital for quite some time.
He was a great friend and such fun. We had many good times together, didn't we? Please know I hold you and your family in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Jan

When we heard of Dale's passing many memories come to mind. gollfing, picnics with our children wall papering in our new house, fun at French Lick & much more. Dale had a sense of humor that was very unique and planning skills that were unsurpast. He was a professional and giving person in every sense of the word. We will miss our old friend.

I was so sorry to read about Dale. What a gentleman he was, and he truly worked so hard for the betterment of Decatur. It was always a pleasure to work beside him on projects to help our community. He was fair and generous. So many organizations in Decatur bear his signature -- we grew as a community thanks to his foresight and patience.
Tom, Tommy and I send our sympathies to Donna and the children.

I worked many years ago at a CPA firm downtown. I would see Mr. Arnold in passing or if I had bank business. When I think of Mr. Arnold, the words - respectful, nice, courteous, and kind come to mind. I hope you feel comfort from God's arms as he surrounds you during this sad time. Thank you for sharing him with so many people.
